We took about 2 hours to kill Sindy (10 attempts?), we slowly made more progress and found what strategy allowed us to burn through phase 3 the fastest and most efficiently.  We basically popped heroism 5% prior to phase 3 in order to allow us time to ramp up dps with CDs and not have any debuff stacks on the dps or anyone in ice tombs.  Worked well, think we got her to 25% from 35% before the first ice tomb came up. 

As for the LK, we poked him a few times and made it, very sloppily, into phase 2.  Btw, I figured out what we did wrong in phase 1.  The OT (paladin) tanks both the horrors and the ghouls and the plague is dropped off on them.  As it kills the ghouls, it increases in stacks and jumps around, eventually to the horror.  The video Niv talked about showed the second horror dying in literally like 30 seconds and being essentially 1-shot by the powered up plague. 

Thoughts for this would be Eye tanking LK, I'm 10-15 yards away with the ghouls and horror(s) and each time the ghouls pop up, Eye rotates around a little (10 yard movement) and I slide into his old spot where the ghouls spawned to make it easier to pick them up.  Rinse/repeat.

FYI: if Eye came along on Sunday and we dropped LK, wouldn't both groups be allowed into hard mode content since Eye could toggle the hard modes on for his raid?
